  • Marvel Wolverine Motorcycle Sequence and Quick-Time Events are Questionable

Marvel’s Wolverine is facing fresh criticism over gameplay sections that some players say require almost no input. Recent clips have highlighted a motorcycle sequence and quick-time events that appear to continue without player interaction.

    Wolverine’s Motorcycle Sequence Raises Questions

Streamer ChicoFilo shared footage showing Wolverine riding through an on-rails motorcycle sequence. In the clip, he drops the controller while Logan continues moving forward and remains on the motorcycle.

The footage has prompted criticism that certain sections allow the game to continue without meaningful player input.

Some Quick-Time Events Also Appear Automatic

Similar criticism has emerged around certain quick-time events. One circulating clip appears to show a quick-time sequence succeeding even when the player does nothing.

However, other footage suggests these examples do not represent every motorcycle sequence or quick-time events. Some quick-time scenes also appear to leave Wolverine damaged when the player misses the required input.

The contrasting footage suggests that these mechanics may behave differently across different sections of the game. This contrast has triggered talk about whether specific sequences are too automated when compared with Insomniac’s earlier games.

The criticism does not necessarily reflect the entire Marvel’s Wolverine experience. However, these examples have added another point of discussion around the game’s overall level of polish.

With Marvel’s Wolverine now available on PS5, players can experience these sections themselves and see how much control they actually provide.
