The wait is almost over for Grand Theft Auto fans. Rockstar Games has officially confirmed that GTA 6 pre-orders will open on June 25, 2026, giving players their first opportunity to secure a copy of one of the most anticipated games of all time.
The announcement also included the reveal of the game’s official cover art, offering fans another glimpse at Rockstar’s upcoming return to Vice City ahead of launch later this year.
Players will be able to pre-order GTA 6 both physically through participating retailers and digitally via the PlayStation Store.
Parent company Take-Two Interactive previously stated that the game’s marketing campaign would ramp up during the summer, and next week’s pre-order launch appears to be the first major step.
Alongside the announcement, Rockstar also showcased how physical copies of the game will look on store shelves and released a brand-new screenshot highlighting the vibrant streets of Vice City.
The image offers another look at the game’s impressive visuals and detailed open world.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026.
