Ghost of Yotei has received a massive update ahead of its upcoming Complete Edition content. The patch reportedly weighs around 29GB on PS5.

The update does not release the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion early. Instead, it appears to prepare the game for next month’s Complete Edition update.

Beauty of Yotei Mode Is Already Available

One of the advertised Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition features is already appearing in the game. Players can access Beauty of Yotei directly from the main menu.

The mode acts as a cinematic showcase of the game’s world. Players can explore different locations with slow camera movements, music, and atmospheric presentation.

Another feature reportedly available now is transmog for weapons and armour. This lets players change equipment appearances without changing their existing stats.

The feature allows players to keep preferred gear appearances while maintaining the benefits of their chosen equipment.

New Trophies Have Appeared

The update has also added trophies connected to Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted.

Both are reportedly now visible on the PS5 trophy list. Their appearance suggests the upcoming content is being prepared ahead of launch.

The main Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition content is scheduled to become available on October 1, 2026.

However, players can already experience several of its advertised features before the remaining content arrives. The large update therefore gives fans an early look at what’s coming next.
