Rockstar Games has kicked off one of the biggest GTA Online event weeks of the year with its annual Independence Day celebration, bringing a massive lineup of limited-time rewards, bonus payouts, and discounts to Los Santos.
Running through July 13, players can claim a free Bunker, earn boosted GTA$ across several activities, unlock exclusive patriotic cosmetics, and save millions on vehicles, aircraft, and business properties.
Rockstar Launches Its Biggest Independence Day Sale Yet
Alongside the free property giveaway, Rockstar is rolling out what it describes as its biggest Independence Day sale ever, featuring substantial discounts across military aircraft, weaponized vehicles, supercars, and business properties.
The Mammoth Avenger headlines the sale with savings of more than GTA$2.4 million, meanwhile the Mobile Operations Center receives one of its largest discounts to date. Popular vehicles like the Declasse Scramjet, Pegassi Tezeract, Sentinel GTS, and Oppressor are also heavily discounted, making this one of the best opportunities all year to expand your garage or invest in specialized vehicles.
Star-Spangled Discounts
In addition to the biggest Independence Day sale GTA Online has seen, Rockstar is also offering a range of patriotic-themed discounts through July 13. Players can pick up a free Firework Launcher from Ammu-Nation and the Gun Van, while a free High-End Garage is available to expand your vehicle collection.
Patriotic customization items are also 40% off, including Independence Day clothing, masks, hairstyles, parachutes, tire smoke, horn upgrades, Mk II weapon liveries, Mobile Operations Center liveries, and other seasonal cosmetics to celebrate the holiday.
Earn 40% Bonus GTA$ on Shark Cards
Players looking to prepare for The Kortz Center Heist can earn additional bonus GTA$ on qualifying Shark Card purchases. By linking a Rockstar Games account and opting into the promotion before July 22, players will receive an extra 40% bonus GTA$ when purchasing eligible Great White, Whale, or Megalodon Shark Cards through August 5.
GTA+ Members receive an additional 15% bonus, increasing the total amount of bonus GTA$ earned during the promotion.
Independence Day Bunker Bonuses
Gunrunning takes center stage this week with Double GTA$ on Bunker Sell Missions, allowing players to maximize profits from weapon shipments while expanding their criminal empire. Research has also been accelerated, with Bunker Research Missions rewarding 2X GTA$, RP, and Research Progress.
Completing three Bunker Research Missions finishes this week’s Weekly Challenge, rewarding players with the Blue Jock Cranley Jumpsuit and an additional GTA$100,000. Players can also earn 2X GTA$ and RP by delivering excess weapon parts to Ammu-Nation through Ammu-Nation Contracts.
3X GTA$ and RP on Stunt Race Series
Players who enjoy high-speed racing can earn Triple GTA$ and RP in the Stunt Race Series through July 13. Featuring gravity-defying tracks, massive jumps, loops, and precision driving, it’s one of the fastest ways to earn extra rewards during this week’s event.
Meanwhile, Running Back (Remix) returns to the Featured Series, offering Double GTA$ and RP as players compete in chaotic, football-inspired vehicle battles.
Collect Beer Hats and More in Business Battles
Business Battles are once again rewarding exclusive seasonal collectibles during the Independence Day celebration. Successfully delivering the special cargo crates gives players the opportunity to unlock returning Beer Hats, including the Pißwasser, Benedict, Patriot, and Supa Wet designs.
Players can also earn the returning Statue of Happiness T-Shirt, making Business Battles well worth completing before the event concludes.
Double Rewards on the Community Series
Rockstar has refreshed the Community Series with a special Independence Day playlist featuring a variety of player-created experiences inspired by the holiday. Rally races, western-themed quickdraw duels, musket deathmatches, and several other community creations are all paying 2X GTA$ and RP through July 13.
It’s a great opportunity to experience some of the community’s best creations while earning boosted rewards.
Last Chance to Join the Fine Art Collector Program
Players still have until July 13 to participate in Rockstar’s Fine Art Collector Program, which offers exclusive rewards leading into The Kortz Center Heist.
Simply playing GTA Online earns Enthusiast status, rewarding players with GTA$500,000 and a free Benefactor Turreted Limo. Completing any GTA Online Heist upgrades players to Patron status, unlocking an additional GTA$1 million and the exclusive NOOSE Outfit.
Mansion owners who log in before the deadline will also qualify for Elitist status, granting a GTA$1 million Art Studio discount, a free Annihilator Stealth helicopter, a decorative Sculpture, and an exclusive Painting when The Kortz Center Heist launches later this month.
