Rockstar Games has officially unveiled The Kortz Center Heist, the next major GTA Online update launching on July 14, 2026. Set inside Los Santos’ most prestigious cultural landmark, players will plan and execute an elaborate museum robbery.
The Kortz Center Heist introduces an entirely new style of criminal gameplay centered around fine art theft. Rockstar is adding one of GTA Online’s most ambitious criminal enterprises yet.

Meet Mr. Faber and Plan the Perfect Museum Heist
Players will partner with the mysterious Mr. Faber alongside his trusted fixer Raf De Angelis to infiltrate the famous Kortz Center. The operation begins with extensive reconnaissance.
Players must carefully study the museum, identify valuable exhibits and learn the building’s security systems before committing to the final heist.
Every decision made during the planning stage directly impacts the finale. This encourages players to think like professional thieves rather than relying purely on firepower.

Build Your Own Art Studio Headquarters
Preparation begins by purchasing the brand-new Art Studio expansion for your mansion property. Mansion owners can invite other players into the space, making it a social hub before launching missions.
The Art Studio becomes your operational headquarters, allowing you to host friends and coordinate every phase of the heist.
The studio’s biggest additions is a talented counterfeiter who creates convincing fake paintings designed to replace the stolen originals. These replicas help delay detection and make the operation feel far more authentic than previous GTA Online robberies.
As preparations continue, supplies gradually fill the Art Studio giving players and their crew access to custom loadouts before the finale begins.

And More…
The Kortz Center Heist can be completed solo or in crews of four to tackle the museum together.
Throughout the operation, Raf De Angelis provides reconnaissance updates and valuable intelligence. Players Mansion’s AI Assistant also plays an important supporting role during planning and execution.
Although solo players can successfully complete the heist, bringing extra teammates increases the opportunity to steal additional valuables and improve the overall payout.
Scout the Museum Before Making Your Move
One of the update’s biggest gameplay changes is its emphasis on surveillance and planning.
Players are encouraged to freely explore the Kortz Center before attempting the robbery. Walk through exhibitions like ordinary visitors while secretly photographing valuable paintings and studying guard patrols.
Scouting also reveals multiple entrances, exits, and escape routes, allowing each crew to design their own strategy instead of following a single scripted approach.
Secondary Targets Increase Your Potential Earnings
While priceless paintings serve as the Primary Targets, the museum contains numerous Secondary Targets that can dramatically increase your final score.
Players who thoroughly investigate each exhibit will discover additional works of art hidden throughout the building, creating extra opportunities to leave with millions more in stolen valuables.
Rockstar says careful exploration and planning will be rewarded, making every scouting mission worthwhile before launching the final robbery.
Stealth Plays a Bigger Role Than Ever
Unlike many previous GTA Online heists, staying hidden is one of the keys to earning the maximum reward.
Artwork that becomes publicly known as stolen loses value on the black market, meaning players who trigger alarms or leave witnesses behind may receive significantly lower payouts.
Successfully removing CCTV footage, avoiding security detection, and escaping unnoticed will help preserve the value of stolen masterpieces while keeping police attention to a minimum.
Display Stolen Artwork Inside Your Mansion
One of the most unique features of the update is the ability to keep stolen paintings instead of immediately selling them.
The Art Studio doubles as a private gallery where players can proudly display successfully stolen masterpieces throughout their Mansion, creating a personalized collection of famous works acquired during previous heists.
Selling the Primary Target generally delivers the largest financial reward, especially during its first appearance each week. However, players who prefer collecting rare artwork can permanently decorate their Mansion instead.
With three new featured paintings arriving every week, Rockstar is giving players an ongoing reason to return and expand their collection.
High Replayability with Weekly Rotations
Rockstar has designed The Kortz Center Heist to remain fresh long after launch.
Weekly rotations introduce new Primary Target paintings while multiple infiltration methods, escape routes, Secondary Targets, and stealth options ensure that no two robberies need to play exactly the same.
This combination of changing objectives and player freedom makes the update one of GTA Online’s most replayable heists to date.
Fine Art Collector Program Rewards
Players still have time to earn several exclusive rewards before the update launches.
Simply playing GTA Online before July 13 enrolls players in the Fine Art Collector Program, awarding a GTA$500,000 bonus along with a free Benefactor Turreted Limo.
Completing any Heist before the deadline unlocks an additional GTA$1,000,000 bonus and the exclusive NOOSE Outfit.
Mansion Owners Receive Exclusive Bonuses
Players who already own a Mansion can earn even greater rewards by achieving Elitist status before July 13.
Exclusive bonuses include:
- Free Annihilator Stealth Helicopter
- GTA$1,000,000 discount on the Art Studio expansion

These rewards provide a significant head start when The Kortz Center Heist officially launches.
New Vehicles and GTA+ Rewards
The update also expands GTA Online’s vehicle roster with several brand-new additions arriving throughout the summer.
Players can expect new Supercars, additional Drift-compatible vehicles, and several models supporting Hao’s Special Works (HSW) performance upgrades.
Meanwhile, GTA+ Members will receive exclusive early access to the brand-new Grotti Veleno GT, which can be claimed for free from The Vinewood Car Club beginning July 14, one week before it becomes available to everyone else.
More Updates Beyond the Heist
Alongside the museum robbery, Rockstar has confirmed additional improvements arriving with the July update.
Players can look forward to updates for the Rockstar Mission Creator, additional gameplay improvements, and several new features that will be revealed as the summer rollout continues.
Players can begin their biggest art theft yet when the update launches on July 14, 2026.
