God of War Laufey Pre-Orders is already making a strong impression on the PS Store ahead of its February release. The upcoming PS5 exclusive has climbed near the top of the digital storefront charts worldwide.

Sony opened pre-orders this week, and the early response appears particularly strong for the Digital Deluxe Edition. The game is already sitting near the top across dozens of tracked countries.

God of War Laufey Reaches Second Place in 44 Countries

According to PS Store DB, God of War Laufey currently holds second place across 44 official Sony storefronts as only GTA 6 ranks above it.

The Digital Deluxe Edition appears to be driving majority of that early performance. It costs more than the Standard Edition and includes several additional digital bonuses.

The early pre-order response is notable because the Santa Monica title introduces a new protagonist. Previous entries have primarily focused on Kratos as the series’ central character.

Despite that change, early PS Store rankings currently show strong interest in Faye’s adventure. Sony has also yet to launch the game’s full marketing campaign ahead of release.

God of War Laufey is currently scheduled to release on February 15, 2027, with pre-orders already available through the PS Store.
