New PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for September 2026 -

September brings another varied PlayStation Plus lineup for subscribers. Four games will be available from September 1 until October 5. Additionally, this month’s selection includes tactical shooting, baseball, co-op chaos and classic JRPG gameplay. Here’s what each game brings to the table.

Sniper Elite: Resistance | PS5, PS4

Sniper Elite: Resistance takes players behind enemy lines during World War II. The story runs alongside Sniper Elite 5 and focuses on occupied France. Players can use stealth, tactical combat and the series’ signature sniping mechanics. The full campaign can also be played cooperatively.

The game also brings back Axis Invasion, allowing players to invade another player’s campaign. There are 16-player competitive battles for players seeking online competition. Survival mode supports teams of up to four players against waves of enemies. Character and load out customization adds another layer of progression.

MLB The Show 26 | PS5

MLB The Show 26 lets players build their baseball career from the very beginning. Its Road to the Show mode includes the MLB Draft Combine and 11 new college teams. Players can develop their careers while experiencing enhanced gameplay and new stadium effects. The game is designed to deliver a more immersive baseball experience.

Diamond Dynasty also returns with players from different eras of baseball. New Red Diamond rarity cards join several card collections this year. These include cards from the World Baseball Classic and 2026 All-Star Game. PlayStation Plus members can also access a special Jump Start Bundle.

Wobbly Life | PS5, PS4

Wobbly Life offers a much lighter experience compared with September’s other games. Players explore a colourful open-world sandbox filled with toys, secrets and mini-games. The game supports solo play, online co-op and local split-screen for up to four players. Almost everything in its world can be interacted with.

Players can complete story missions while exploring the island’s caves and hidden locations. Arcade mode adds several extra experiences for players wanting something different. These include Trash Zone, Hide & Seek, Wobble Run and Sandbox. Its focus on cooperation makes it ideal for playing with friends.

Chained Echoes | PS4

Chained Echoes is a story-driven JRPG inspired by the 16-bit golden era. Players follow a group of heroes attempting to end a war between three kingdoms. The journey crosses varied environments, including plateaus, archipelagos, cities and forgotten dungeons. Players can fight using swords, magic and even mechanical suits.

The game’s world mixes traditional fantasy with technology in an unusual combination. Dragons exist alongside powerful Mechs that players can pilot during their adventure. Its focus on storytelling and classic RPG mechanics makes it a strong choice for genre fans. Chained Echoes gives September’s lineup a welcome old-school twist.
