  • Marvel’s Wolverine Is Getting a New PS5 Limited Edition Collection

Sony has unveiled a new range of Marvel’s Wolverine-themed PS5 hardware, giving fans a chance to bring Insomniac’s upcoming superhero game to their setup before its launch.

The collection includes a limited-edition PS5 Digital Edition bundle, matching DualSense controllers and console covers for both the PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro.

    A Wolverine-Inspired PS5

The headline product is the PS5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle, featuring a distinctive yellow-and-black design inspired by Wolverine’s classic look.

The bundle includes the console, a matching Battle Yellow DualSense controller and a digital copy of Marvel’s Wolverine.

Fans who already own a PS5 can instead purchase the Battle Yellow console covers, while PS5 Pro owners get their own version as well.

Sony is also offering an Adamantium version of the PS5 Pro covers and DualSense controller. These use a metallic silver finish inspired by Wolverine’s famous adamantium claws.

Personally, the transparent claw marks across the console designs are probably the standout detail. The overall yellow design won’t be for everyone, but the controllers arguably pull off the theme particularly well.

    Here’s How Much It Costs

    Firstly, pricing is as follows:

    • PS5 Digital Edition Battle Yellow Bundle: $649.99 / £569.99 / €649.99 / ¥96,980
    • Battle Yellow DualSense: $84.99 / £74.99 / €84.99 / ¥12,480
    • Battle Yellow PS5 Covers: $74.99 / £64.99 / €74.99 / ¥9,980
    • Battle Yellow PS5 Pro Covers: $74.99 / £64.99 / €74.99 / ¥9,980
    • Adamantium PS5 Pro Covers: $74.99 / £64.99 / €74.99
    • Adamantium DualSense: $84.99 / £74.99 / €84.99

With Marvel’s Wolverine being one of PlayStation’s biggest upcoming first-party releases, these editions are likely to attract collectors as much as dedicated Wolverine fans.

The limited-edition hardware will be available for pre-orders August 19, 2026.
