The wait for Marvel’s Wolverine may finally be entering its next phase.

With the highly anticipated PS5 exclusive launching in just over three months, reports suggest that pre-orders could go live shortly after PlayStation’s upcoming State of Play on June 2nd.

Fans have already spotted promotional displays appearing at retailers, including this big display in a GameStop which was erected recently.

PlayStation has already confirmed that Wolverine will open next week’s showcase, leading many to expect an extended gameplay presentation and perhaps our best look yet at Insomniac’s take on Logan.

With launch day rapidly approaching, this would also be the perfect opportunity for Sony to reveal special editions, pre-order bonuses, and a possible Collector’s Edition.

And after years of anticipation, it finally feels like Wolverine is stepping into the spotlight. The big question now is whether Insomniac can deliver another superhero hit on the same level as Marvel’s Spider-Man.
