PlayStation Plus members are getting three new games throughout October. The lineup covers Formula One racing, supernatural extraction gameplay, and chaotic co-op shooting.
All three games become available on October 6 and remain playable until November 2. Additionally, this is what each game brings to the October lineup.
F1 25

F1 25 brings the official 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship to PS5. Players can build their own racing stories through Career mode and the updated My Team 2.0.
Players will be able to compete online through a new F1 World multiplayer mode. You and your friends can race together as a squad while competing against AI drivers.
Hunt: Showdown 1896

Hunt: Showdown 1896 combines extraction shooter gameplay with monsters and rival Hunters. Players must track down dangerous bosses, claim their bounty, and survive long enough to extract.
You can choose to play alone or with up to two teammates. Every expedition carries serious risks as rival Hunters compete for the same rewards.
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 brings voxel-style battles against enormous enemies to PS5 and PS4. In addition, players may rescue teammates and build a four-person squad from characters found during the campaign.
The roster includes soldiers from different EDF games alongside familiar enemies and new threats. Players can also enjoy four-player online co-op or two-player local split-screen multiplayer.
This month seems really promising with different experiences arriving altogether in one package. October’s PlayStation Plus lineup offers plenty of variety that members can jump into from October 6.
